The mission trip to Romania was an absolutely amazing experience!

The day before I was due to leave for Romania, I fell off a ladder and badly bruised my ankle; the doctor said it would take eight weeks for it to fully heal.

Vincent prayed for me via video call, and I believed I would receive my miracle!

The passion in my heart to go to Romania was stronger than the severe bruise on my left ankle, so I decided to stand in faith; I meditated on the truth that healing belongs to me, and I received healing for my ankle—Hallelujah!

I became part of a wonderful team, made up of people with diverse personalities, gifts, and talents; it was beautiful getting to know one another in such a short time. By God's grace, we learned to work together, and things went well as a result.

Personally, I came to know God's grace in my weaknesses and discovered that I could rely solely on His grace.

I had envisioned leading as many souls as possible to Jesus—and that is exactly what happened! But God also opened my eyes to the importance of working "hand in hand" and sharing what I had learned by proclaiming the Gospel in cities and villages; people were touched by the testimonies and the preaching of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

We experienced so much in such a short time—far too much to list here. Just one of the beautiful testimonies I experienced...

One day, we went to one of the Gypsy villages in Santana.

We visited several families, but there was one family with many children; what struck me was how deeply their trust in people had been damaged.

As a result, we couldn't get very close to them at first,

but after a moment of patience and lending a listening ear, the Holy Spirit began speaking to my heart about a young man in that family.

I asked if I could share a word with the young man, and his mother gave her approval.

What I shared was this:

"I believe God is making you a helper to many in this village, and God is going to help you with this."

The young man looked up! His mother confirmed that this was true and that he was already working towards that—praise God!

We were invited inside to pray for the young man, and we prayed for the family as well. The young man walked back to the Gospel Truck with me; we had a wonderful afternoon with the villagers of Santana.

I certainly hope to go on a mission trip to beautiful Romania again!

On September 13th, I arrived “home” in Romania for eight days to join this mission week.

It was a great honour and deeply meaningful for me, especially because I hadn’t been back 

since 2018.

As soon as we arrived in Arad, we went to a Romanian church service.

It was wonderful to experience live Romanian worship again, meet the team there, and 

encourage the worship leader and their children.

The next day, we met the rest of the team at the shelter and made plans for the week. I chose 

to help with face painting for the children in the Roma villages, but one of the highlights of the 

week happened that afternoon in a park.

I approached a group of teenagers and, speaking Romanian with them, we started talking 

about life and what it is like to be a teenager today. One girl opened up to me about her life, 

and after listening to her story, she allowed me to speak into her life. I was surprised and 

deeply touched that I could encourage her and talk with them about God, His love, and Him as 

a Father.

This was definitely one of the highlights of my week.

The following days were filled with serving the Roma communities. We prepared goodie bags for the children and travelled to the villages with the truck. My role was to help set up the truck, take care of the sound and support the musicians and speakers. 

At the same time, I was able to pray for the children and teenagers and speak with parents—all 

in Romanian. Seeing the children’s faces when they received their goodie bags was beautiful.

I also had several deep conversations with homeless people who attend the shelter. Their 

circumstances broke my heart, but I was moved by their stories, their faith, and their openness. 

I prayed with some of them, and those moments reminded me that every person deserves to 

be seen, heard, and loved.

On another evening, we worshipped and spoke with people in a different park in Arad. I also 

had a meaningful conversation with a woman who had a strong faith in God but chose to live 

that out in her own way. I really appreciated her honesty and her story. On Thursday morning I wasn’t feeling well and stayed behind to rest, so I could join the afternoon program in another Roma village. Again, I helped with the truck and sound while spending time with the Roma people.

On September 18th, we travelled to Brașov to evangelise. We visited a beautiful young church 

there, where I also helped the pastors set up the sound for the service. It was a more relaxed part of the mission, and I really enjoyed being there. After that, we 

travelled back and eventually flew home from Timișoara.

This mission week was truly blessed and beautiful.

I’m grateful for every person I met, every conversation, and every opportunity to serve. If it is God’s will, I hope to return with this beautiful organisation again one day.

What has stayed with me most from this trip is the experience of living together as a family.

Our group stayed together in one house, and simply *being* together as a family of faith was so healing. We shared genuine conversations, filled with love and freedom. We worshipped, laughed, and ate together. For me personally, this was incredibly healing.

The team in Romania works with such deep devotion to the Gospel. You can tell that this is their pure motivation every single day; everything they do stems from that.

Back home, I had wondered: will our trip really make a difference? But once we were with the people, it quickly became clear just how much of an impact it had.

What touched me was that they never just make a quick, superficial visit. They build genuine relationships—not only in the villages but also with churches and local authorities. It is sustainable work.

And everything, from start to finish, is done on a voluntary basis—from assembling food parcels to preparing meals for the homeless, setting up tents, and organizing events and activities.

The prayers for the people were so powerful; you could really see the Book of Acts coming to life. Compassion for those who have not yet been able to receive the Gospel in freedom—that is the pure driving force behind these mission trips. It touched my heart, and I encourage you to go, too. It is a journey where you share Jesus’s love with people in places where they otherwise wouldn't hear or see it.

Hello everyone! My name is Roana, and I’m part of the Send to the Nations team. I’m the Romanian on the team, one of the translators, and the person who gets to witness every outreach up close. 😅

I’ve had the privilege of being part of every major outreach we’ve done this year, and I can honestly say that I’ve seen so much growth. I’ve seen God moving, opening the hearts of people, shifting the atmosphere, saving the lost, and drawing people closer to Himself. It’s such a humbling experience to be part of something so much bigger than us and to witness the amazing work the Lord is doing.

One of the things that amazes me the most, and probably what I love the most, is seeing how open the children are to what is real. Seeing them begin to step outside of religion and the ways they have been taught, and discover The Way, The Truth, and The Life—that is what matters so much to me.

With every outreach, I see growth. People are becoming more open, they are beginning to trust us more, and we are already starting to see the fruit of what God has been doing.

I’m so grateful to be part of this work and to witness what the Lord is doing in Romania.

May the Lord of the Harvest bless every team that comes, serves, and supports this work. May He continue to open hearts, reach the lost, and bring many people into a real relationship with Him.
